Good Will Hunting is a drama film released in 1997. The movie depicts the amazing journey of Will Hunting, and how he discovered himself, found love and realized his potential through over coming the adversities of his past. He was able to achieve that with the help of a therapist, his best friend and his love Skylar. The story tells us about a young boy who is extremely gifted but he is unaware of his own potential.

The story begins with a professor (played Stellan Skarsgard) at MIT, giving his students a difficult math problem to solve.Will (played by Matt Demon), who works as a janitor at MIT, he saw the math problem on the board and effortlessly solve it. And on the next day the professor found out that Will solved that problem, he did every thing he could to make sure Will did not waste his genius mind.So the professor Gerald Lambeau hired his old room mate Sean Maguire (played by Robin Williams) and asked him to counsel Will in the days before his 21 birthday, when he's free of his juvenile status. The iron Will of southie and Sean was an unlikely match. But however they share the same pain, professor himself struggling with the death of his wife and Will struggling to find himself, within time a connection starts to emerge between them. So, as the story progress Will and Lambeau started working well together, Will used to help the professor by solving various math equation and on the other hand attending the therapy session was going good for him. Will started dating Harvard student Skylar (played by Minnie Driver) but opening up to her prove to be difficult. As a reason of avoiding her the relationship didn't lasted long. At the end, Sean fully recovers Will by helping him to over come the demons of his past and reaching into the heart of Will, who had decided that he never wants to be reached again and finds his true self through the course of his journey.

The therapy session between Sean and Will were the hearts of the film and with an unforgettable performance by Matt Damon and late Robin Williams as a therapist was excellent, for which he won the Best Supporting Academy Award. The complex relationship between Will and Skylar played an interesting part in the movie. The movie clearly shows the remarkable and excellent film making skills.

I definitely recommend this movie to give it a try because it shows us, how everybody are unique, unequal and limitless in their own way.
