The red sparrow is a 2018 action movie casting Jennifer Lawrence as the lead role, the movie shows the story of an innocent girl who later become a spy for Russian. She is a ballerina dancer and she gets hurt and then she goes to spy school to become a sparrow, lots of people complained that wasn't a realistic spy school, it was sexiest because she didn't learn how to use weapons and fight and all this useful spy stuff but I completely disagree I think that this kind of a spy school was way more realistic of what spy school would actually be like and the skills set the real-world spies who operate in the real world, not in the movie, where you have a big shoot out with people and its all about weapons and fighting, no that's in a spy movie. Actual spies are all about manipulating people having different identities being able to be a chameleon and become whatever you mark or target wants you to be and I thought this was so well done and conveying.

In spy school, the first things you lose is the sense of identity and any attachments to anything that made you any kind of distinctive personality to wipe away and go in with a completely blank slate when you start your spy career and what I thought was interesting when you can see this kind of meta-commentary on how apparently there's a great emphasis on individuality and the people having personalities and identity and  Russia in particular. Again this was very reminiscent of that there's this emphasis on the community and sacrifices, you are just a cog in the machine and you lose any sense of individuality so you could interpret it that way, but I interpret it way very interesting that it seemed like at the school what they basically doing was creating psychopaths now one of the most important things about psychopaths, sometimes they feel like they have no inherent essence and no identity no, no real personality, they are just chameleon and them just kind of blend to whatever environment they are in and also whoever they are with whatever they are trying to get out of someone, whoever they are with they can become the kind of a fantasy version of that person they can see that person wants most and they can just become that because again they have no core essence, they can become what anyone wants them to be. In the school where they don't really have the hang-ups about lots of things but in particular sex and sexuality was a huge part of this school and they can use sex as a tool a weapon whatever they want to to use it as they don't feel the same kind of emotions around it as other people, they don't feel the same kind of insecurity so I thought it was very interesting and a great scene when she's in the class with that guy, she does kind of assert herself and thought it was really great sense. I think the acting here as a whole was stronger here almost everyone gives a fantastic performance in this one, the looks were more stylized, and in some way, it was aesthetically better but  I thought this had a really awesome look as well, that was totally it's own and I think it was just a better tighter story. I don't want to take away from that, there are lots of great things about this movie, the amazing fight scene. so Jennifer Lawrence has two tasks she has to find the mole person who's Russian who's traitor and is giving information and then her second task is she is an American trader giving information to the Russian, and get this data that's secrets from the U.S and bring up to Russia, now at this point she is flipped sides and she is working with the American so what she does is she meets with Boucher gives her the money takes the tape but then switches the tape she's going what her plan is, she's gonna give the Russian fake information that actually not the real information and gives the tape back to Americans and switches side and the Americans find out that Boucher is a traitor so when Boucher goes to leave she is picked up by the Americans, now the Russian sees this and the think Jennifer sparrow was the one who was meeting with her and knows about her plan and they torture her but she didn't give the information. She gets released and understands her whole goal is to get revenge so she realizes the best way to for her to get revenge is to pretend she's been kidnapped by the Americans and they are kind of holding her hostage, what she does is she goes to the Russian and I had been captured and but the good news is I know the mole and you, re gonna arrest him capture him don't kill them pretend that we are doing a hostage exchange where you are gonna give them all to Americans because Americans like the guy he's feeding them information so pretend you that you are gonna give them the American exchange for me because I am captured you got to get me out of here and also I found the existence of the mole so you have to rescue me. This is how Jennifer makes her way back to Russian where she is a hero at the end.
